Purple Box

  1. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the services provided by Purple Box (UK) Ltd (hereinafter “Purplebox”). By creating an account and/or using the services offered via www.purpleboxuk.com, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, you must not use our services.


    1. DEFINITIONS

    • Purplebox: Purple Box (UK) Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (Company No. 08212295), with its registered office at 77 Commercial Street, London, England, E1 6BD.

    • Customer: Any individual or business entity creating an account and/or using Purplebox services.

    • Services: All hosted telecommunication services provided by Purplebox, including VoIP, internet, support, and related services.

    • Call Bundle: A user-based allocation of inclusive minutes, applicable where the account is configured to support user-specific bundles.

    • PAYG (Pay As You Go): Per-minute billing for usage beyond the inclusive Call Bundle.


    2. ACCEPTANCE

    By registering an account and using Purplebox services, the Customer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, including any updates posted on the Purplebox website.


    3. SERVICE PROVISION

    Purplebox will:

    • Provide services with reasonable care and skill.

    • Employ suitably trained and competent personnel.

    • Endeavour to resolve service faults promptly but does not warrant uninterrupted service.

    • Notify Customers of planned service changes with a minimum of 30 days’ notice, which may include pricing, feature, or term adjustments.


    4. CALL BUNDLES AND USAGE

    Where a Call Bundle is assigned to a user, 2,000 inclusive minutes per month are provided for calls to UK landlines and mobiles.

    Once this limit is reached, further usage will be billed on a PAYG basis:

    • 2p per minute to UK landlines

    • 4p per minute to UK mobiles

    Premium-rate and select UK national numbers (e.g., 084, 087, 09) are excluded and billed separately.

    Purplebox reserves the right to review recurring high usage and may recommend a more suitable plan. Refusal to migrate may result in service limitation or termination.


    5. CUSTOMER OBLIGATIONS

    The Customer agrees to:

    • Keep account and device access secure.

    • Use services legally and ethically.

    • Indemnify Purplebox for any regulatory fines, charges, or claims arising from misuse.

    • Pay all service charges, including those resulting from unauthorised or fraudulent usage.


    6. BILLING & PAYMENT

    • Invoices are issued monthly via email within 10 business days after each month.

    • Payment is due by the end of the following month (“Due Date”).

    • Interest of 2% per month (or maximum lawful rate), compounded daily, applies to overdue balances.

    • Charges are based on Purplebox billing records, not customer-side logs.

    • Customer may be required to provide a deposit equal to 1.5 months’ estimated usage for post-paid services.

    Disputes:

    Disputes must be raised in writing within 3 working days of receiving the invoice, identifying:

    • Invoice number, date, and amount

    • Specific charges disputed and reason

    Non-disputed amounts remain payable in full. Valid disputes will be credited in the following billing cycle.


    7. SERVICE SUSPENSION AND TERMINATION

    Purplebox may suspend or terminate services:

    • For non-payment or breach of agreement

    • If service use is unlawful, harmful, or disrupts other customers

    • If required by law, regulation, or court order

    • Due to maintenance or emergency conditions

    Either party may terminate this agreement with written notice. The month of termination remains payable in full. Immediate termination applies if:

    • Customer becomes insolvent or ceases operations

    • Required deposits are not provided


    8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

    Purplebox is not liable for service interruptions, data loss, or consequential damages. Total liability is limited to three months’ average billing value.

    No liability applies for delays or failures caused by Force Majeure, including (but not limited to) natural disasters, war, terrorism, civil unrest, network failures, strikes, or government actions.


    9. LAW AND JURISDICTION

    This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of England & Wales. If any provision is found invalid, the remaining terms remain enforceable.


    10. POLICY CHANGES

    Purplebox may update these terms at any time. Changes become effective upon publication on the website.
